ISLAMABAD, Jan 30 (APP):Pakistan Customs recovered smuggled goods worth approximately Rs 58 million during an operation at the international arrivals of Jinnah International Airport, Karachi.
According to press release issued by FBR here Friday, the recovered items included 1,185 grams of gold jewellery along with commercial quantities of cosmetics, perfumes and handbags. The goods were seized during routine checks of passengers arriving at the airport.
The press release added an FIR has been lodged against the passenger under the relevant provisions of the Customs Act, 1969.
