KARACHI, Jan 30 (APP):Shipping activity was report at the port where four ships, MSC Flosta-III, Torm Davao, Fuwairit and Valiant carrying Container, Gas oil, LNG and Coal, berthed at Qasim International Container Terminal, FOTCO oil Terminal, Pakistan Gas Port Terminal and Marginal Wharf Terminal respectively.
Meanwhile four more ships, Vera, Stena Continent, Chem Barcelona and Maya Gas-1 with Palm oil, Mogas, Chemicals and LPG also arrived at outer anchorage during last 24 hours.
A total of ten ships were engaged at PQA berths during the last 24 hours, out of them eight ships, Gas Aurora, BW Osaka, Sea Champion, Torm Davao, Pravaj, Bristol, MSC Flosta and ONE Morivator are expected to sail on today.
Cargo volume of 232,180 tonnes, comprising 166,735 tonnes imports cargo and 65,445 export cargo carried in 4,809 Containers (1,719 TEUs Imports & 3,090 TEUs Export) was handled at the port during last 24 hours.
There are 11 ships at Outer Anchorage of the Port Qasim, out of them three ships, Chemroad Hawk, MBA Future and Clear Ocean Mortiz & two more ships, Sinar Tidore and ONE Motivator carrying Palm oil, Soya Bean Seed, Mogas, Chemicals and Container expected to take berths at LCT, FAP, FOTCO, EVTL and QICT on today.
