LAHORE, Jan 30 (APP):The Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) Lahore Zone has intensified its crackdown against networks involved in human smuggling and visa fraud,arresting two suspects,including a proclaimed offender (PO).
According to an FIA spokesperson,the arrested suspects were identified as PO Muhammad Ubaid and Muhammad Arham.
They were apprehended during raids conducted in Rawalpindi and Lahore.
The spokesperson said the accused were involved in migrant smuggling and visa fraud and had defrauded citizens of Rs 9.25 million by luring them with fake employment visas for Australia and Portugal.
The suspects have been taken into custody and further investigation has been initiated to unearth the entire network involved in the crime.
