ISLAMABAD, Jan 29 (APP):Islamabad Capital Territory (ICT) Police’s SSP Operations Qazi Ali Raza chaired an important meeting attended by all station house officers (SHOs) to review policing performance and strengthen law and order measures in the federal capital.
A police spokesperson told APP on Thursday that during the meeting, the SSP Qazi conducted a one-by-one performance review of all SHOs and issued clear directions for an effective and comprehensive crackdown against illegally residing Afghan nationals.
The spokesperson said special instructions were also issued to sentries and police guides deployed at police stations to ensure that complaints of visiting citizens are promptly conveyed to the relevant officers so that public grievances can be addressed without delay.
SSP Qazi further directed all officers and personnel to remain fully alert for all kinds of law and order duties, ensure the continuous presence of patrolling units in the field, and utilize all available resources to safeguard the lives and property of citizens.
He reiterated that Islamabad Police remain fully committed to eliminating crime and maintaining peace and order across the city.
