RAWALPINDI, Jan 28 (APP): A newly constructed “sunroom” (Tourist Sitting Area) in Murree has become a centre of attention for visitors, officials said, following efforts by Deputy Commissioner (DC) Murree and Chairman of the Murree Improvement Trust, Agha Zaheer Abbas Shirazi.

“The modern facility, built to enhance comfort and recreation for tourists, is being widely used by families visiting the hill station. Visitors can enjoy the scenic views in a warm and cosy environment, even during cold weather and snowfall,” a Murree administration official said on Wednesday.

He said the area was maintained to high standards of cleanliness and amenities, with staff working continuously under the special instructions of DC Shirazi to ensure a safe and pleasant environment for tourists.

The combination of proper seating arrangements, modern design and meticulous upkeep has further enhanced the site’s appeal. The tourists and local residents have praised the initiative as a positive step towards promoting tourism and improving visitor facilities in Murree.

The official said,”Such development projects not only add to Murree’s natural beauty but also highlight the district administration’s commitment to citizen-friendly and progressive governance.”
