Commissioner directs for timely completion of exams arrangements

RAWALPINDI, Jan 28 (APP):Commissioner Rawalpindi Engineer Aamir Khattak, while presiding over a meeting regarding the arrangements for the SSC Part I and II examinations of the Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (BISE), said that all pre-examination preparations must be completed in a timely manner. He directed that the number of hard centers be increased and monitoring at these centers be further tightened. He emphasized that no one would be allowed to exploit students who have worked hard throughout the year. Therefore, the use of unfair means would not be permitted to deprive deserving students of their rightful results.Commissioner further directed that sensitive centers be properly identified, and concerned Assistant Commissioners and Tehsildars would personally perform duty at these centers.
He also instructed that state-of-the-art control rooms be established to ensure effective monitoring during examinations. Duty rosters of the relevant staff should be issued, and proper monitoring mechanisms must be ensured.
Directing for the preparation of detailed checklists for effective supervision of the examination process, the Commissioner said that it must be ensured that the progress of all administrative and examination-related matters is clearly visible and well-documented.
During the briefing, it was informed that a total of 400 examination centers are being established across the division. This year, the number of hard centers has been increased from 100 to 150. The preparation and printing of question papers, delivery of unsolved answer sheets to examination centers, establishment of a central control room, installation of CCTV cameras at examination centers, and staff training are underway. All these activities will be completed before February 20, 2026.
The review meeting, held at the Commissioner’s Office, was attended by Additional Commissioner Revenue, Controller Examinations Tanveer Asghar Awan, Board Secretary Amjad Iqbal, and other concerned officers.
