RAWALPINDI, Jan 27 (APP):The Anti-Narcotics Force (ANF) on Tuesday recovered 175 kilograms of narcotics worth more than Rs 13.3 million in three operations across the country, arresting one suspect.
According to an ANF spokesperson, one kilogram of crystalmeth (ice) was seized from the luggage of a Bahrain-bound passenger at Bacha Khan International Airport, where the suspect was taken into custody.
In another operation, 60 kg of hashish concealed in five needle machines was recovered from a courier office near Haji Camp in Peshawar. Separately, 114 kg of hashish hidden in secret compartments of a vehicle was seized at Balkasar Interchange, Kallar Kahar.
Cases have been registered under the Control of Narcotic Substances Act, 1997, and investigations are underway, the spokesperson said.
