IRSA releases 170,900 cusecs water

ISLAMABAD, Sep 27 (APP):The Indus River System Authority (IRSA) Thursday released 170,900 cusecs water from its various rim stations with inflow of 112,600 cusecs.
According to the data released by IRSA, water level in the Indus River at Tarbela Dam was 1507.24 feet.
Water inflow in the dam was recorded as 62,600 cusecs while outflow as 115,000 cusecs. The water level in the Jhelum River at Mangla Dam was 1168.70 feet, which was 128.70 feet higher than its dead level of 1,040 feet whereas the inflow and outflow of water was recorded as 9,100 cusecs and 15,000 cusecs respectively.
The release of water at Kalabagh, Taunsa and Sukkur was recorded as 120,300, 116,600 and 27,100 cusecs respectively.
Similarly from the Kabul River, 11,100 cusecs of water was released at Nowshera and 15,600 cusecs from the Chenab River at Marala.
