Assaulter injured after pistol in waistband goes off
JAHANIAN, Jan 27 (APP):A man accused of attempting to assault an eight-year-old girl was injured when his pistol accidentally discharged while resisting arrest,here on Tuesday.
According to police,Hamza a resident of Chak 136/10-R lured the girl to a secluded spot but fled after she cried out for help.
He was later tracked down by authorities.When police attempted to arrest him,Hamza pulled out a pistol from his waistband,but it accidentally went off,injuring him.
Rescue1122 reached on the spot and shifted hamza to THQ Hospital for treatment.
An investigation was ongoing.
