ISLAMABAD, Jan 27 (APP):Islamabad Traffic Police (ITP) on Tuesday said that traffic flow on various roads of the federal capital has slowed down due to rainfall, causing pressure on major arteries of the city.
An ITP official told APP that traffic police officers are present on roads to ensure smooth traffic flow and facilitate commuters despite the wet conditions.
He urged citizens to strictly avoid lane violations while driving, saying that discipline on roads is essential to prevent congestion and accidents during rain.
The official specifically advised motorcyclists to remain in the left lane and maintain a slow speed to ensure their own safety as well as that of other road users.
He added that commuters can contact the traffic helpline 1915 or emergency helpline Pucar-15 for updates and assistance.
