FAISALABAD, Jan 26 (APP):Regional Police Officer (RPO) Sohail Akhtar Sukhaira visited Faisalabad Chamber of Commerce & Industry (FCCI) and assured the business community of improved security and law & order in the city.
He also held a detailed meeting with chamber representatives and discussed the overall security situation in the city and measures for the prevention of crime.
During interaction, the RPO assured the business community that the issues faced by the industrialists would be addressed on priority basis to ensure a peaceful and secure environment for business activities.
During meeting, a comprehensive discussion was held on overall security landscape of the city, challenges related to law & order and ongoing efforts to curb criminal activities.
The participants exchanged views on strengthening coordination between the police and business community to ensure effective crime prevention and a safer environment for commercial and industrial operations in Faisalabad.
Addressing the gathering, RPO Sohail Akhtar Sukhaira praised the role of industrialists in maintaining peace and order and highlighted the importance of collective responsibility in ensuring security. He said that the problems and concerns of Faisalabad’s industrial community would be resolved at all levels on priority basis.
He stressed that providing a peaceful, secure and business-friendly environment remains top priority of the police as stability and security are directly linked to economic progress.
He further assured that the police department would continue to enhance coordination with the Chamber of Commerce and other stakeholders to proactively address security-related challenges.
He underlined that regular consultation and information sharing between law enforcement agencies and the business community are a key to preventing crime and maintaining sustainable peace in the city.
FCCI President Farooq Yousaf Sheikh appreciated the concrete steps taken by Faisalabad police particularly in the RPO’s region to eliminate drugs and gambling activities. He acknowledged that these actions have contributed to improved public confidence and a safer atmosphere for businesses and citizens alike.
Chamber representatives emphasized that sustained law enforcement efforts are essential for economic stability and industrial growth in the city.
Earlier, RPO Sohail Akhtar Sukhaira was warmly received upon his arrival at Faisalabad Chamber. FCCI President Farooq Yousaf Sheikh, Secretary Sabir Ayub and other senior office-bearers of the chamber were present on the occasion and they appreciated the police department’s engagement with the business community.
President District Bar Association (BA) Faisalabad Mian Tariq Mahmood, Bar Secretary Kaleem Ullah Gill, former FCCI President Mian Muhammad Idrees along with a large number of chamber members and notable representatives from the legal and industrial sectors also attended the meeting.
