ISLAMABAD, Jan 25 (APP):Inspector General of Police (IGP) Islamabad Syed Ali Nasir Rizvi paid a surprise visit to the Traffic Headquarters, Faizabad, to review the provision of quality facilities to citizens and ensure effective monitoring of traffic police services.
A police spokesperson told APP on Sunday that during the visit, the IGP met citizens present at the facility, obtained their feedback regarding driving licence services, and conducted a detailed inspection of the facilities and services being provided in the licensing branch.

The spokesperson said that IGP Rizvi also visited the driving test area and closely observed the driving test process of citizens who had come to obtain driving licences.
On the occasion, the IGP issued clear directions to traffic police officers, stressing that transparent and quality services must be provided to citizens within the shortest possible time. He directed that the driving licence issuance process should be made more simple, fast and effective to avoid inconvenience to the public.
IGP Rizvi specifically instructed officers to deal with citizens politely, provide complete guidance and ensure the best possible facilities for all visitors without any discrimination. He said that along with law enforcement, public facilitation and service delivery remain among the top priorities of Islamabad Police.

Meanwhile, IGP Islamabad Syed Ali Nasir Rizvi also held a meeting at his office with SSP Security Captain (R) Syed Zeeshan Haider, AIG Special Branch Muhammad Sarfraz Virk, AIG Legal Kazim Naqvi and the Accounts Officer.
During the meeting, security matters, intelligence coordination, legal affairs and administrative issues were reviewed in detail. The IGP issued necessary directions to further improve performance and strengthen coordination in these areas.
He reiterated that ensuring public convenience, improving service standards and maintaining effective oversight of police functions remain key objectives of Islamabad Police.
