Gilani expresses condolences on demise of Syed Hassan Murtaza’s father

ISLAMABAD, Jan 25 (APP): Chairman of the Senate, Syed Yousaf Raza Gilani, on Sunday, expressed deep sorrow and grief over the passing of the father of Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) senior leader and former Member of the Provincial Assembly, Syed Hassan Murtaza.
In his condolence message, the Chairmanof the Senate prayed for the eternal peace of the departed soul and asked Allah Almighty to grant forgiveness, elevate the ranks of the deceased, and bestow patience and strength upon the bereaved family.
Syed Yousaf Raza Gilani said that parents were one of the greatest blessings bestowed by Allah Almighty.
Their affection, guidance, and presence are irreplaceable, and the loss of a parent is an immense tragedy that is extremely difficult to endure or express in words, he added.
He further stated that he stands shoulder to shoulder with the grieving family in this difficult time and prayed that Allah Almighty grants them the strength to bear this irreparable loss with patience.
It is pertinent to mention that Syed Hassan Murtaza is a senior leader of the Pakistan Peoples Party. He has served as a Member of the Provincial Assembly and also served as the Parliamentary Leader of the PPP in the Punjab Assembly.
The Chairman Senate extended his heartfelt condolences and sympathies to the bereaved family and prayed for the elevation of the rank of the departed soul.
