PPP not to leave dwellers of Tirah Valley alone: Senator Rubina Khalid

PESHAWAR, Jan 24 (APP): Chairperson Benazir Income Support Program, Senator Rubina Khalid has said that Pakistan People’s Party would not leave people of Tirah Valley alone at this critical time.
In the current situation, the help of displaced people of Tirah valley is mandatory, she said while talking to the media after congratulating the newly elected cabinet of Peshawar Press Club here on Saturday.
On this occasion, Peshawar Press Club President, M. Riaz, General Secretary, Alamgir Khan, members of governing body and senior journalist Shamim Shahid were also present.
Senator Rubina Khalid said that Peshawar Press Club’s elections are conducted in a democratic manner and expressed the hope that new cabinet will work tirelessly for the benefit of journalist community.
She said that wherever there was a disaster in the country, People’s Party under the leadership of President Asif Ali Zardari remained there and assigned the duty of its senators and members of the National and Provincial Assembly to serve the people.
The dwellers of Tirah valley are in trouble and stuck in the icy roads while deaths of children are coming in this severe cold, which is causing a lot of pain to the heart.
On this occasion, the rulers of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf are sleeping for a long time and they have taken complete silence, she criticized.
