ISLAMABAD, Jan 24 (APP):Islamabad Traffic Police (ITP) have issued a traffic advisory due to ongoing development work at the Margalla Enclave underpass on Park Road, warning motorists of possible congestion and announcing alternative routes to ensure smooth traffic flow.
An ITP official told APP on Saturday that traffic movement will be managed through diversions at different points.
Rawal Dam Chowk to Tramri:
• Traffic will be diverted via NIH Road
• Vehicles will pass through Mohra Noor
• Traffic will rejoin Park Road after the diversion
Tramri to Rawal Dam Chowk:
• Traffic will be diverted near Chai Khana
• Vehicles will pass through CDA Nursery
• Traffic will move along the iron grill
• Vehicles will use two temporary roads
• Traffic will re-enter Park Road
Alternative Routes:
• Lehtrar Road
• Khanna Pul
• Islamabad Expressway
The official said that due to the continuation of development work, heavy traffic pressure is expected on Park Road. Citizens have been advised to plan their travel with an additional 20 to 30 minutes to avoid inconvenience.
ITP officers will remain present on roads to facilitate citizens and manage traffic smoothly.
