PESHAWAR, Jan 23 (APP):Following the cessation of rainfall, power restoration work has been further accelerated across the Peshawar Electric Supply Company (PESCO) region.
According to the PESCO spokesperson on Friday, heavy rain over the past 24 hours caused 171 feeders to trip across the PESCO region.
Despite adverse weather conditions, PESCO field staff remained engaged in repair and restoration work throughout the night.
So far, electricity supply has been restored on 53 feeders, while restoration work on the remaining affected feeders is currently underway and will be completed soon, the spokesperson added.
The spokesperson further stated that electricity supply on all other feeders is being provided as per routine.
PESCO has advised consumers to report power outages by calling the helpline number 118 for prompt assistance.
