CAIR slams Israeli killing of 11 Palestinians including 3 journalists

NEW YORK, Jan 23 (APP): The Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR), a prominent Muslim advocacy organization, has condemned the slaughter of 11 Palestinians, including 3 journalists, by Israeli forces in Gaza.

Among the dead are Mohammed Salah Qashta, Abdul Raouf Samir Shaath, and Anas Ghanem, the three Palestinian journalists targeted in a strike on their car, while filming for an Egyptian government humanitarian initiative in the central town of Zahraa. The car was clearly marked with the Egyptian Committee’s logo, it was pointed out.

Nasser Abu Bakr, Chairman of the Palestinian Journalists’ Syndicate, reported that more than 255 journalists were killed in Gaza, representing 18 per cent of the overall number in the Strip.
