ISLAMABAD, Jan 22 (APP):Islamabad Safe City has signed an agreement with TPL Limited for the provision of a tracker system software aimed at enhancing monitoring of police patrol vehicles in the federal capital.

A police spokesperson told APP on Thursday that the agreement was signed to install tracker systems in Islamabad Police patrol vehicles to ensure real-time monitoring of their movement and improve operational efficiency.

The signing ceremony was attended by Muhammad Haroon Joiya, Director General Safe City and DIG Traffic Islamabad, Assistant Director Safe City Abbas Mehdi, along with representatives of TPL Limited.

The spokesperson said the initiative would enable authorities to keep track of patrol vehicles, strengthen supervision, improve response time and enhance transparency in policing operations.

He added that the tracker system would also help in better deployment of resources, effective route monitoring and improved coordination during routine patrols and emergency situations.

Islamabad Safe City continues to adopt modern technology and smart solutions to support Islamabad Police in ensuring effective policing, public safety and improved service delivery across the city, the spokesperson added.
