MULTAN, Jan 22 (APP):A motorcyclist was killed while trying to save a passerby in Al-Quresh Colony on Shershah Road.
Police said on Thursday that Abid Hussain, 60, was riding his motorcycle when a pedestrian suddenly came in front of him while crossing the road. In an effort to save the passerby,he lost his control over the bike and collided with a moving bus.Consequently, Abid fell on the road and suffered serious head injuries.
Rescue workers rushed to the spot and attempted to revive him by performing CPR, but he could not survive.
The body was later shifted to Nishtar Hospital under police supervision for legal formalities.
Police said further investigation was under way.
