ISLAMABAD, Jan 21 (APP):A delegation of under-training Assistant Superintendents of Police (ASPs) from the National Police Academy visited the Police Lines Headquarters to gain practical insight into the functioning of Islamabad Police.
A police spokesperson told APP on Wednesday that senior officers of Islamabad Police welcomed the delegation and briefed them on various operational and administrative aspects of policing in the federal capital.
During the visit, AIG Logistics Abdul Haque Umrani and SP Headquarters Pari Gul Tareen provided a detailed briefing on the working, security arrangements and overall administrative affairs of Islamabad Police.
The delegation was also taken on a guided tour of different units and facilities at the Police Lines, including various offices, the quarter guard, roznamcha branch, armoury, miscellaneous store, uniform warehouse and the firing range.
