QUETTA, Jan 20 (APP):Acting Governor Balochistan Ghazala Gola on Tuesday said that the current government is taking concrete steps for the development of all women of the province and creating new opportunities for education and employment for them
She expressed these views while talking to Secretary Women Development, Saira Atta at the Governor House Quetta.
Acting Governor Ghazala Gola said that women are half of our population, only by providing them equal opportunities and facilities, we could utilize all these hidden talents in the best interest of the country and nation.
She said that the women of Balochistan are in no way less intelligent and capable than women of other provinces, but poverty and lack of necessary facilities remain obstacles in their way.
Ghazala Gola said that it is a matter of satisfaction that our women are proving their capabilities in all spheres of life.
She mentioned that lack of opportunities actually prevents our women from reaching their full potential.
She said that it is certain that only an economically independent woman can play a key role in achieving her and other women’s rights and empowerment. Earlier, Secretary Women Development Saira Atta congratulated her on assuming the post of Acting Governor.
