RAWALPINDI, Jan 19 (APP):The Potohar Model United Nations (PMUN) – 5th Edition was held from 16th to 18th January 2026 at Beaconhouse Potohar Campus and concluded as a resounding success.
A large number of students from the twin cities participated enthusiastically, engaging in thought-provoking debates and meaningful discussions on a range of global issues.
Farah Naz Akbar, Member of the National Assembly and Parliamentary Secretary, Ministry of Federal Education and Professional Training, National Heritage and Culture Division, graced the occasion as chief guest.
In her address, Farah Naz emphasized that platforms like Model United Nations are vital in providing opportunities for healthy dialogue, fostering critical thinking, and promoting peace and harmony among the youth
Beyond the academic sessions, the event offered a lively and enriching experience through food stalls, a captivating concert by Bayaan, and an enthralling Bazm by Shamemastana, creating a perfect blend of intellect and culture.
The Principal of the campus, Ayesha Ansar, along with the College Headmistress, Farhana Tariq, highly appreciated the tireless efforts of the organizers and commended the students for their active participation.
They encouraged learners to continue engaging in such healthy, constructive, and intellectually stimulating activities that nurture leadership, confidence, and holistic development.
At the conclusion of the event, Parliamentary Secretary distributed awards to the Best Delegates.
