FGRF Dawat-e-Islami team arrives in Palestine to review relief efforts

ISLAMABAD, Jan 19 (APP):Head of the United Kingdom chapter of Faizan Global Relief Foundation (FGRF), the welfare wing of Dawat-e-Islami, Syed Fazeel Shah arrived in Palestine to oversee ongoing humanitarian operations.
The visit is aimed at assessing relief activities on the ground and ensuring effective delivery of aid, including food, medical support, and essential supplies, to families in need.
Reaffirming solidarity with the people of Gaza, Syed Fazeel Shah said, “Alhamdulillah, we have never forgotten Gaza before, and we will never forget it.” He emphasized the organization’s continued commitment to extending humanitarian assistance.
According to Shah, more than 5,000 people have received medical facilities, 23,000 individuals were provided with warm clothing, and cleanup operations have been completed over an area of 100,000 square meters.
Over the past two years, FGRF has actively supported Gaza through multiple initiatives. The foundation has distributed $500,000 in assistance via UNICEF, delivered 7.7 million liters of clean drinking water, and provided cooked meals to over 400,000 people.
Relief efforts also include ration bags for 96,000 families, tent houses for 600 families, powdered milk and diapers for 8,000 children, and fresh cakes for more than 55,000 children. Fresh bread has reached 120,000 people.
Additional aid has comprised cash assistance for 15,000 families, 100,000 kilograms of flour, 2,000 blanket kits, 1,500 mattresses, 5,000 hygiene kits, and 1,200 hijabs for women.
Shah noted that FGRF has also extended support to Gaza refugees in Egypt, establishing a healthcare center in Cairo to provide regular medical check-ups. To date, $100,000 in cash assistance has been distributed among refugees there.
He added that the current visit of FGRF officials to Palestine is intended to accelerate humanitarian support for the oppressed Muslims of Gaza, stressing that the organization’s relief work continues uninterrupte
