ISLAMABAD, Jan 18 (APP): The Common Criteria Pakistan Lab (CCPL) is participating in ITCN Asia Lahore from January 17 to 19, 2026, spotlighting the urgent need to strengthen Pakistan’s IT and cybersecurity ecosystem through internationally recognized security evaluations.
During the event, CCPL, being the first & only NTISB & PNAC accredited lab in Pakistan, is showcasing its role in enhancing trust, resilience, and compliance within the national digital infrastructure.
By conducting Common Criteria–based security evaluations, CCPL is contributing to the development of secure and reliable IT products and systems aligned with global standards.
CCPL representative emphasized that robust security evaluation frameworks are essential for safeguarding digital transformation initiatives and protecting sensitive information across public and private sectors.
The lab is actively sensitizing industry leaders, policymakers, and technology stakeholders on the importance of adopting secure-by-design principles and evaluated technologies.
The representative also highlighted that it is working for the cause of national cyber security since IT products & services security evaluations as per Pakistan Security Standards, implemented in 2023, are going to be mandatory in 2028.
