KHANEWAL, Jan 18 (APP):The district administration on Sunday launched a major crackdown against illegal occupants and retrieved 52 acres of land belonging to the Forest Department were retrieved.
According to a spokesperson,Assistant Commissioner(AC) Khanewal Rohit Kumar Ganita led the operation with PERA Force support.Heavy machinery and sufficient manpower were used during the action.
The market value of the retrieved government land was estimated at Rs 240 million.
