ISLAMABAD, Jan 17 (APP):A boy was killed and a minor girl was wounded when a powerful blast occurred in the fields of Matta area, Swat
district of KPK, on Saturday.
According to initial reports, rescue officials stated that the two children were playing in the fields when the blast occurred and explosion instantly killed the boy, while the girl sustained injured, private news channel reported.
Injured and body was promptly taken to the hospital, rescue officials added.
Following the incident, local police cordoned off the area to secure the scene. They have launched an investigation to determine the exact cause of the blast and whether it was a result of an unexploded device or other factors.
Authorities are working to gather more information and ensure that the cause of this tragic accident is identified.
