SUKKUR, Jan 17 (APP):The Sindh government has released Rs 29 billion 90 crore 40 lakh 74 thousand 588 for the payment of pension arrears to retired civil servants. The funds will be distributed through district accounts offices to the relevant pension sanctioning authorities.
According to handout issued here on Saturday, the payment aims to clear pending post-retirement pension dues, including commutation, gratuity, and superannuation retirement benefits. The Finance Department has instructed that payments be made in accordance with rules and regulations
