PESHAWAR, Jan 17 (APP):Under the auspices of Frontier Corps Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (North), a special visit to Qila Bala Hisar was organized for students from various madrasas, schools, and universities.
The purpose of this visit was to familiarize the younger generation with national security, history, and the role of FC.
On this occasion, the students took a detailed tour of different sections of Bala Hisar fort and gained information about its historical, defensive, and cultural significance.
The students were given a comprehensive briefing on the role, duties, and sacrifices of the Pakistan Army and Frontier Corps, as well as its services in establishing peace and stability in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
During the visit, the participants laid a floral wreath at the Martyrs’ Memorial and paid tribute to the martyrs who sacrificed their lives for the country.
Later, they also visited the Frontier Corps Museum, where they were introduced to the illustrious history, sacrifices, and achievements of the Frontier Corps.
During a question-and-answer session, Inspector General FC Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (North), responded to students’ questions on various topics.
On this occasion, the participants highly appreciated the unparalleled sacrifices and services of the Frontier Corps and expressed their gratitude to the Frontier Corps for this positive and commendable initiative.
