AFIGP Pakistan announces results of National Elections 2026

ISLAMABAD, Jan 16 (APP):The Association of Former Inspectors General of Police (AFIGP) Pakistan has successfully concluded its National Elections 2026, formally constituting its new National Executive Body.
According to the results announced by the AFIGP Election Commission, Dr. Shoaib Suddle has been elected President unopposed, while Dr. Tariq Masood Yasin has secured the position of Vice President, also unopposed. Dr. Syed Kaleem Imam was elected General Secretary through a ballot.
The electoral process was conducted in a transparent, fair, and orderly manner under the supervision of Election Commissioner Kamal Uddin Tipu, assisted by Commission Members Qudratullah Khan and Sultan Azam Temuri. To ensure broad-based participation from members across Pakistan, the association employed a digital polling system.
With the issuance of the official notification, the AFIGP National Executive Body stands duly constituted.
Established in 2017, AFIGP is a registered professional body of retired Inspectors General of Police. It is dedicated to advancing police reforms, promoting officers’ welfare, and strengthening professional policing standards in Pakistan.
The association continues to serve as an independent think tank, offering evidence-based guidance to governments and relevant institutions on policing, internal security, and criminal justice governance.
