ISLAMABAD, Jan 15 (APP): Deputy Prime Minister/Foreign Minister (DPM/FM), Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar on Thursday chaired the Executive Committee of National Economic Council (ECNEC) meeting here at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MOFA) and approved key development projects worth over Rs 117 billion.
The projects approved included extension of the Sehat Sahulat Program up to 30 July 2026, along with major initiatives in energy, infrastructure and transportation to promote socio-economic development and improve service delivery, a DPM’s Office news release said.
The DPM/FM directed relevant ministries to ensure proper planning, implementation and sustainability of these initiatives.
The meeting was also attended by the Finance Minister, SAPM Tariq Bajwa, Sindh Minister on Planning Dev and Irrigation, Secretaries of Cabinet, Health, Communications and Planning, and senior officials from concerned ministries.
