MUZAFARGARH, Jan 15 (APP):A review meeting regarding preparations for the forthcoming Pink Games was held at the District Sports Office under the chairmanship of District Sports Officer Layyah, Imtiaz Ahmed Bhatti.
The meeting was attended by Tehsil Sports Officers from all tehsils of the district, along with coaches of the concerned sports disciplines.
During the meeting, it was decided that training camps for all selected games would be established at the Sports Complex Layyah, commencing on January 15. Addressing the participants, the District Sports Officer informed that the training camps would continue for four days.
He further stated that trials for the Pink Games would be held in Dera Ghazi Khan from January 19 to January 24, following the completion of the training camps. Inter-division competitions will be organized after the conclusion of these trials, he added.
The meeting was also attended by prominent sports personalities, including Samia Qayyum (Archery), Hasan Ali Khan (Badminton), international footballer Arif Chhina, international Taekwondo gold medalist Mehr-un-Nisa, hockey coach Syed Junaid Shah Gilani, and Nauman Saeed Ghori representing Weightlifting.
