ISLAMABAD, Jan 15 (APP):The Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) on Thursday directed senators, MNAs and MPAs to file their asset and liability details by January 15, 2026, in accordance with Section 137 of the Election Act.
The Commission cautioned that lawmakers failing to submit financial statements by January 16 will face suspension of membership.
To ensure compliance, the ECP’s Political Finance Wing at Kohsar Block will remain open until midnight on Thursday to receive the required documents.
