FAISALABAD, Jan 14 (APP):Managing Director (MD) Water & Sanitation Agency (WASA) Saqib Raza has directed
officials to complete all ongoing development schemes on Millat Road by the end
of January.
WASA Chief along with Deputy Managing Director O&M Usman Zia visited the sites of ongoing
development schemes on Millat Road, Gulistan Disposal Station and adjoining areas to review progress.
Directors Farhan Akram, Owais Jamal, Sanwal Malik, Nauman Noor and other officers were also present on the occasion.
The MD stressed that desilting and rehabilitation of drains as well as the remaining construction work of Gulistan Disposal Station must be finalized without delay.
He reviewed the pace of work and instructed that construction activities under both schemes should be completed in all circumstances by the last week of January.
He also directed immediate completion of the outer boundary wall of Gulistan Disposal Station and early wrapping up of the remaining civil works.
He instructed that after desilting of drain lines from Millat Road towards Jamia Chishtia Chowk, full rehabilitation of the drains should also be ensured.
