LAHORE, Jan 13 (APP):The Lahore Development Authority’s Town Planning Wing on Tuesday sealed another 83 properties in its ongoing operation against illegal commercial buildings in LDA-controlled areas.
The LDA teams conducted multiple operations across various regions, including
Ferozepur Road, Gujjarpura, Shadman I, Shadman II, Defence Road and Revenue Society in Johar Town.
The operations were carried out due to illegal commercial usage and non-payment of commercial fees.
Specifically, 16 properties on Ferozepur Road, 27 properties in Gujjarpura, Shadman I, and Shadman II were sealed for violating commercial regulations.
During the recovery operation in Revenue Society, Johar Town, 30 properties were sealed, and 10 properties were sealed on Defence Road.
The sealed properties included wedding halls, markets, furniture shops, shoe stores, clothing shops, private schools, clinics, building material stores, beauty salons, restaurants, food points, grocery stores, retail shops, and offices, among others.
The operation was supervised by Chief Town Planner Asad ul Zaman and Chief Town Planner II Azhar Ali. The Enforcement Wing, LDA Security, and local police also participated in the operation.
