ISLAMABAD, Jan 12 (APP):The House Business Advisory Committee of the National Assembly met on Monday under the chairmanship of Speaker Sardar Ayaz Sadiq to discuss the agenda and duration of the 23rd session of the lower house.
The committee decided that the current session of the National Assembly would continue until Friday, Jan 23, 2026.
It was agreed that legislative business, Question Hour and matters of public importance would be taken up during the session.
Deputy Speaker Syed Ghulam Mustafa Shah and Federal Minister for Law and Justice Senator Azam Nazeer Tarar attended the meeting.
Federal Minister Khalid Hussain Magsi and MNAs Syed Naveed Qamar, Aijaz Hussain Jakhrani, Syed Hafeezuddin, Syed Aminul Haque, Nezahat Sadiq, Syeda Shehla Raza, Noor Alam Khan and Sheikh Aftab were also present.
