FAISALABAD, Jan 12 (APP):Director General (DG) Faisalabad Development Authority (FDA) Muhammad Asif Chaudhary ordered to ensure financial discipline across all FDA departments, emphasizing that there must be complete transparency in accounting entries.
Assigning monitoring responsibilities to Additional Director General (ADG) Qaiser Abbas Rind here on Monday, the DG said that income and expenditure details in the finance department should be scrutinized daily with extreme precision and responsibility.
To review financial affairs, the ADG Qaiser Abbas Rind convened a meeting and directed relevant officers to adopt an effective and comprehensive strategy for the accurate assessment of various fees and dues recoveries.
He emphasized that a double-check system must be implemented in this regard. The chair emphasized that there should be no obstacles in implementing digital technology for the recovery and payment of dues.
The officers were instructed to carefully verify all fee entries in the e-challans issued for online recovery.
The ADG warned that any form of dishonesty, mismanagement, or irregularity in financial matters will not be tolerated. Consequently, all records must be kept up to date, he added.
Director Town Planning Asma Mohsin, Director Estate Management Junaid Hassan Manj, Deputy Director Finance Afzal Ansari, Assistant Director Recoveries Mian Akhtar and other officials were also preset in the meeting.
