LAHORE, Jan 12 (APP):Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif expressed deep grief and sorrow over
the martyrdom of six police officials, including a station house officer, in a bomb
blast in district Tank.
In a statement, the chief minister extended her heartfelt condolences and sympathies to
the bereaved families and prayed for patience and strength for them during this difficult time.
She strongly condemned the bomb blast in Tank district, saying that such cowardly acts cannot
weaken the resolve of the state in its fight against terrorism.
The CM reiterated solidarity with the families of the martyrs and paid rich tribute to the sacrifices of police personnel who laid down their lives in the line of duty to protect the nation.
