LAHORE , Jan 12 (APP):Federal Minister for Information and Broadcasting Attaullah Tarar, accompanied by PML-N leader Sajida Farooq Tarar, on Monday called on Prime Minister’s Coordinator for Political Affairs and Head of the Public Affairs Unit, Syed Tauseef Shah, at Cheema House.
During the visit, the minister also met public representatives from his constituency, including chairmen, vice chairmen, senior party workers, councillors, women leaders and lady councillors, and listened to their concerns in detail.
Participants voiced confidence in the policies of the PML-N government and lauded the federal administration for its ongoing development initiatives.
The minister reaffirmed that the government was according top priority to public welfare. Pakistan has transitioned from stability to a path of development, with military successes achieved last May and recent economic measures earning the country international respect and recognition.
He added that economic stability and an improved pace of development were being witnessed, while the PML-N leadership remained committed to its mission of public service.
He emphasized that the journey of development and prosperity would be further accelerated.
Participants also expressed satisfaction over the Punjab government’s ongoing development initiatives.
The three-hour meeting reviewed local public issues as well as the country’s overall situation and future course of action. The federal minister expressed gratitude to the leaders and workers who attended the session.
