SSP Operations calls for prompt resolution of women’s issues at Police Stations

RAWALPINDI, Jan 11 (APP):Senior Superintendent of Police SSP Operations Malik Tariq Mehboob has stressed that issues faced by women must be resolved promptly at the police station level.
He said while chairing a meeting of women police officers at the Rawalpindi Police Headquarters on the directions of City Police Officer CPO Syed Khalid Hamdani.
The meeting was attended by DSP Admin Shahida Yasmin along with women police officers from across the district.
Addressing the participants, SSP Malik Tariq Mehboob said that resolving women’s complaints is a top priority and no negligence in service delivery will be tolerated.
He said women officers with skills in driving, computers, and modern technology will be further empowered and deployed more effectively in field duties, monitoring, and service delivery.
He also directed that all women officers assigned to special duties must ensure punctuality and professional conduct.
The SSP further emphasized that cases involving abuse and violence against women and children must be investigated strictly on merit and concluded without delay.
He added that, on the instructions of the CPO Rawalpindi, all necessary facilities are being provided to women police officers at their duty points across the district.
“Women are working shoulder to shoulder with men in every field. By functioning as one team, we can play an effective role in the fight against crime,” he added.
