ISLAMABAD, Jan 11 (APP): Deputy Prime Minister/Foreign Minister Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar, Sunday, urged Secretary General of Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) to step up his efforts for realization of the right to self-determination of Kashmiri people.

The DPM/FM met Secretary General OIC Hissein Brahim Taha on the sidelines of extraordinary Council of Foreign Ministers (CFM) in Jeddah, the Foreign Office Spokesperson said in a press release.

The DPM/FM highlighted Pakistan’s strong condemnation of Israel’s recognition of Somaliland and its unwavering support for the sovereignty, unity and territorial integrity of Somalia.

Categorically rejecting any proposal for dislocation of Palestinians, he reaffirmed Pakistan’s principled position on Palestine.

OIC SG commended Pakistan’s consistent and constructive role at OIC in advocating for the causes central to the Muslim Ummah.
