ISLAMABAD, Jan 10 (APP):Chairman Central Ulema Council Pakistan’s Maulana Sahibzada Zahid Mahmood Qasmi Saturday expressed deep condolences over the martyrdom of Maulana Hafiz Sultan Muhammad Haqqani, condemning the attack as a cowardly act and urging authorities to swiftly crush the “Fitna al-Khawarij.”
While speaking to a local news channel, the Chairman of the Pakistan Ulema Council expressed profound sorrow and regret over the martyrdom of Maulana Hafiz Sultan Muhammad. He strongly condemned the killing, describing it as an attack on peace, religion and humanity.
He said all scholars are of the view that suicide attacks are forbidden and dialogue cannot be held with those who are pursuing the agenda of “Fitna Hindustan.”
He demanded fast action against the “Fitna al-Khawarij” and offered condolences to the mourning family.
He stated that terrorists target every Pakistani indiscriminately and emphasized that such acts of terrorism are intended to destabilize the country and instill fear among the public.
He further called for unity against extremist violence, emphasizing that attacks on scholars and innocent families would not weaken Pakistan’s determination to fight terrorism.
He demanded for immediate arrest of all perpetrators and their strict punishment under the law.
