ISLAMABAD, Jan 10 (APP): Speaker of National Assembly Sardar Ayaz Sadiq Saturday paid rich tribute to the security forces for conducting successful intelligence-based operations (IBOs) in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, particularly in North Waziristan and Kurram districts.
In a statement, the Speaker lauded the professional competence of the security forces for neutralizing 11 terrorists affiliated with Indian-sponsored Fitna Al-Khawarij.
He said the bravery and sacrifices of the armed forces and law enforcement agencies in the ongoing war against terrorism were a source of pride for the entire nation.
Ayaz Sadiq reiterated that the Pakistani nation stands shoulder to shoulder with its courageous security forces in eliminating the menace of terrorism.
He emphasized that effective operations against Indian-backed terrorist elements were vital to safeguarding national security.
The Speaker made it clear that there was no place in Pakistan for elements involved in targeting innocent civilians and security personnel.
He affirmed that counter-terrorism operations would continue uninterrupted until the complete eradication of terrorism.
Commending the operations being carried out under Azm-e-Istehkam, the Speaker said these actions reflect the strong resolve of the state to defeat hostile designs.
He said that the unity of the nation was a decisive factor in foiling the enemy’s malicious intentions.
Ayaz Sadiq said that joint operations by the security forces and law enforcement agencies served as a shining example of efforts aimed at ensuring lasting peace and stability in the country.
