LODHRAN, Jan 10 (APP):One person was killed while three others were injured in a cylinder explosion at a gas refilling shop near Waraich Petrol Pump on Railway Road on Saturday morning.
According to Rescue 1122 officials,the blast occurred during the refilling of a gas cylinder when it suddenly exploded.
The explosion caused the roof of the refilling shop to collapse and also damaged a nearby furniture shop,trapping several people under the debris.
Rescue 1122 teams rushed to the spot after receiving information and launched a search and rescue operation. Five emergency vehicles,including two ambulances,one rescue vehicle and two fire tenders were deployed.
Rescuers pulled three injured persons from the rubble and provided first aid on the spot,while one person was found dead due to being trapped under the debris.
The body was shifted to THQ Hospital Dunyapur for further legal formalities.
