SARGODHGA, Jan 10 (APP):Commissioner Sargodha Division Hafiz Shaukat Ali on Saturday conducted a surprise inspection of the Government TB Hospital and reviewed the functioning of various departments.
During the visit,the commissioner met patients to inquire about the quality of treatment and availability of medicines.
He inspected the X-ray room and slip counter,checked staff attendance,ensured the presence of doctors and reviewed staff attitude towards patients.
The commissioner directed the hospital administration to further improve cleanliness and immediately fix exposed electrical wiring to avoid inconvenience to patients.
He emphasized that timely supply of medicines must be ensured,warning that no negligence would be tolerated.
He instructed officials not to compromise on the quality of treatment, facilities and discipline.
Hafiz Shaukat Ali also inspected the under-construction CT scan building adjacent to the hospital and directed the contractor to complete the work and install machinery within a week.
He later visited the blood transfusion unit,reviewed the screening process and was briefed on newly installed machinery,directing officials to make the blood screening process more effective and safe.
