RAWALPINDI, Jan 09 (APP):The District Accounts Office Rawalpindi has advised the general public and staff of other departments to visit the office only for urgent matters due to ongoing construction work under the Kutchery Chowk upgradation project.
According to a press release issued on Friday, the front portion of the District Accounts Office building is being demolished as part of the project, affecting normal operations.
The notice said that various installations, including the relocation of online servers and electrical equipment, were under way, while debris from the building posed a potential risk to safety.
In view of these circumstances, staff of all departments and members of the public have been urged to exercise caution and restrict visits to the accounts office strictly to essential official work until further notice.
