DC addresses public complaints under open door policy

BAHAWALPUR, Jan 09 (APP):In line with the special directives of Chief Minister Punjab Maryam Nawaz Sharif, Deputy Commissioner Bahawalpur Syed Hassan Raza held an open meeting in his office under the Open Door Policy to ensure the prompt redressal of public grievances.
Citizens from various areas of the district met the Deputy Commissioner and presented their issues and complaints. The Deputy Commissioner listened attentively to the concerns of the applicants and issued on-the-spot instructions on several applications, directing the concerned departmental officers to take immediate and effective action. He emphasized that public service is the top priority of the Punjab Government and that, as per the Chief Minister’s directives, no negligence or delay in resolving citizens’ problems will be tolerated.
Syed Hassan Raza instructed all district officers to ensure their presence in offices for the redressal of public complaints and to give priority attention to citizens’ issues. He made it clear that resolving public grievances is a fundamental responsibility of the district administration and warned that strict action would be taken against officers found negligent in this regard. The citizens expressed satisfaction over the Deputy Commissioner’s personal hearing and timely actions, and thanked the Chief Minister Punjab and the district administration of Bahawalpur for their commitment to addressing public issues effectively.
