KARACHI, Jan 05 (APP):Two ships, G. Washington Bridge and Bering Gas Container and LPG, berthed at Qasim International Container Terminal and Engro Vopak Terminal respectively on Sunday, Meanwhile five more ships, Snarth, Ullswater, Stolt Argon, Kathrine Kosan and Coal carrying Palm oil, LPG, Chemicals and Coal also arrived at outer anchorage during last 24 hours.
A total of six ships were engaged at PQA berths during the last 24 hours, out of them a containers ship ‘G Washington Bridge’ left the port on Monday morning, Meanwhile two more ships, Asia Inspire and Bering Gas are expected to sail on Monday afternoon.
Cargo volume of 47,962 tonnes, comprising 30,271 tonnes imports cargo and 17,691 export cargo carried in 1,162 Containers (426 TEUs Imports & 736 TEUs Export) was handled at the port during last 24 hours.
There are 16 ships at Outer Anchorage of the Port Qasim, out of them three ships, Floyen, Stolt Argon and Pacific Apex & another ship ‘Seaspan Santos’ are carrying Palm oil, Chemicals, Coal and Container are expected to take berths at LCT, EVTL, PIBT and QICT on Monday.
