ISLAMABAD, Jan 05 (APP):Federal Minister for Interior Mohsin Naqvi has expressed deep grief and sorrow over the passing of Sheikh-ul-Hadith and Mohtamim of Jamia Ashrafia Lahore, Maulana Hafiz Fazl-ur-Rahim Ashrafi.
The Interior Minister extended heartfelt condolences and sympathies to the bereaved family. He paid rich tribute to the religious services of Maulana Hafiz Fazl-ur-Rahim Ashrafi, stating that the late scholar always advocated inter-sectarian harmony and unity.
Mohsin Naqvi said that Maulana Fazl-ur-Rahim Ashrafi raised a strong voice against sectarianism and extremism, and his invaluable services for Islam will always be remembered. He prayed that Allah Almighty may elevate the ranks of the departed soul and grant patience and fortitude to the bereaved family and all those mourning the loss. Ameen.
