PESHAWAR, Jan 03 (APP):Governor Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Faisal Karim Kundi on Saturday extended heartfelt congratulations to the Pakistan Air Force, scientists, engineers, and the entire defence production team on the successful flight test of the indigenously developed Taimoor Weapon System.
In his congratulatory message, the Governor termed the achievement a major milestone in Pakistan’s defence and aerospace capabilities, reflecting the country’s growing technological self-reliance and innovation. He lauded the Pakistan Air Force for its professionalism, operational excellence, and unwavering commitment to safeguarding national security.
Governor Kundi said that the successful test of the Taimoor Air-Launched Cruise Missile demonstrates Pakistan’s ability to develop advanced, precision-strike defence systems, significantly enhancing conventional deterrence and strengthening the nation’s defence posture in a challenging regional security environment.
He particularly appreciated the role of Pakistani scientists and engineers whose dedication and expertise made this achievement possible, adding that such accomplishments are a source of pride for the entire nation.
The Governor reaffirmed his confidence in the Pakistan Armed Forces and emphasized that the people of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa stand united with them in their efforts to ensure the sovereignty, security, and stability of Pakistan.
