ATTOCK, Jan 3 (APP):Attock Police on Saturday arrested a suspect in connection with the abduction of a 17-year-old girl, marking a key development in the case registered earlier this month. The arrest comes as part of an ongoing investigation aimed at ensuring justice and safeguarding vulnerable citizens.
According to police sources, the case was lodged at Rangoo Police Station after the victim’s father reported that his unmarried teenage daughter had mysteriously gone missing from their home during the night. He told police that the family had retired to bed after dinner, only to discover later that the girl was no longer in the house. Acting promptly on the complaint, police launched an immediate search operation and successfully recovered the missing girl.
During the course of the investigation, police said, the recovered girl identified Syed Faizan Bukhari, a resident of Rawalpindi, as the person involved in the incident.
Following this identification, police moved swiftly to arrest the suspect and initiated a thorough probe. Police officials emphasized that the case is being pursued strictly in accordance with the law and assured that all legal formalities will be fulfilled without delay.
